Payment: Pre-payment is required to begin production of your
custom coin order. Pre-payment is not required for art proofs.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover,
as well as a company check or Purchase Order.

Privacy: All information provided by you will remain confidentia..
We do not supply any information to mailing lists, telephone
lists, or any third parties. However, we may notify you of
any special offers we may have.
Artwork: We can accept all forms of artwork including file
such as Power Point, Corel, Photo Shop, Illustrator, tifs,
jpg, gifs as well as faxes.
Cancellations or Changes: Any cancellations or changes after
an order is placed will be subject to all cost incurred and
will be assessed accordingly.
Dies: All dies and their titles do not convey. Dies are an
essential part of coin making. Once we create a die for you,
they are good for life. No die charge for reorders.
Trademarks, Copyrights, Registration Marks: Monterey Company,
bears no responsibility for infringements of copyrighted logos.
All copyrighted logos require written permission from holder
of copyright prior to production. Logos, names, and trademarks
pictured in the printed or online catalog are examples of
work done by the factory. They are not for sale. The factory
assumes that clients are authorized to use logos and trademarks
submitted for reproduction. We assume no liability in trademark
or copyright disputes.
Delivery: Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery upon receipt
of order. Special ship date requests may be fulfilled if requested.
Orders are shipped F.O.B. CARLSBAD, California. We ship via
UPS and FedEx with reduced rates. Multiple destination shipments
are subject to a $6.00 charge per destination after the third
location.
Returned Merchandise: Authorization for return of merchandise
must be obtained from TheMonterey Company, prior to return.
Authorization must be requested within 10 days from invoice
date.
Preproduction Samples : Preproduction samples are available
with a deposit of $ 400.00 and 2 to 3 week delivery will apply.
Upon approval of sample, Your deposit is applied to order
and an additional 2 to 3 weeks is required to complete production.
Term Accounts: All credit accounts should have a completed,
signed, and approved credit application on file to qualify
for NET 30 terms. Accounts without approved signed credit
applications will be on a prepay basis. On first orders, 100%
down is required when order is placed. Completion of credit
application does not automatically guarantee credit. Each
application is screened and credit references are checked
by mail before approval is granted. Please allow 1-3 weeks
for processing.
Accepted Credit Cards: We accept American Express, Visa,
and Mastercard.
Billing: Invoices are sent a few days after shipment of orders.
Monthly statements, listing all open invoices and finance
charges for late payment, are sent monthly. Payment should
be received in this office within 30 days of invoice date
to avoid finance charges. Payments are posted on the day they
are received.
Finance Charges: Accounts with unpaid balances 30 days after
invoice date will be assessed a finance charge of 1.5% per
month (18% per annum) on the unpaid balance. Finance charges
are automatically computed and added to accounts at the end
of the month, prior to the printing of the statements.
Past Due Accounts: A maximum of 90 days is allowed for payment
before account is turned over to our collection agency. A
statement marked Final Notice will be placed in collections
the following month if payment is not received. Accounts with
balances, including unpaid finance charges, older than 60
days are automatically flagged by our computer system, preventing
new orders from being placed on a past due account. Any problems
or discrepancies must be brought to our attention within 21
days of receipt of shipment.
Acknowledgements: All orders will be acknowledged in writing
less freight charges.
Colors: There are a finite number of cloisonne pigments available.
We will do our best to most closely match your color specifications.
Color matching is available at no additional charge on Soft
Enamel and Hard Enamel coins. Glitter colors are available
in the Soft Enamel process.
Over/Under Runs: All orders ship with exact quantity ordered.
Less Than Minimum quantities will be quoted on an individual
basis.
Reorders: There are no die or tooling charges for exact repeat
reorders. Please reference the personalized item number assigned
(found on acknowledgements and invoices) when placing reorders.
Production time is one week less than stated in catalog for
each specific process.
Rush Orders: Special ship date requests may be fulfilled
if requested and agreed upon by The Monterey Company. A service
charge may be necessary. Please call for quotation and availability.
Samples: Random samples are available at no charge.
